About Brian

Brian Larson is a New York City–based author.

Brian is a graduate of The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where he wrote his master’s thesis on the Future of Work while cross-registered at Harvard Business School.

His research, Data for Social Good: Using Credit Card Transaction Data to Mitigate or Prevent Catastrophic Events like Mass Shootings, garnered media attention and received accolades for its innovative application of data within the financial services industry.

Alongside his writing, Brian works in finance consulting, with prior roles at JPMorgan Chase, HubSpot, and Pegasystems.

His forthcoming memoir, THE AFTERPARTY, was acquired by Broadleaf Books in August 2025 in a competitive deal and will be published in June 2027.

He is also at work on his novel, The Blood Lottery, a suspense-driven story set on Governors Island that explores grief, substance abuse, and systemic corruption.
